DENVER, April 15 (UPI) -- A scheduled National League game between the Colorado Rockies and New York Mets Monday was postponed due to snow and cold weather.

The game was called as temperatures were in the 30-degree Fahrenheit range with snow in the forecast for Denver.

The Rockies said the contest would be made up as part of a Tuesday split doubleheader, with games set for 3:10 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. (EDT).

The snow-out was the second in two days for the Mets, whose scheduled Sunday interleague game in Minneapolis against the Minnesota Twins was also rescheduled due to frigid temperatures.
