DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., April 15 (UPI) -- Inbee Park edged past Stacy Lewis and on Monday became the eighth player to reach the No. 1 spot in the women's world golf rankings.

The LPGA was off this past week but Park won the Kraft Nabisco Championship April 7. That lifted her from fourth to second in the rankings. Further points adjustments this week put her at No. 1.
