ANAHEIM, Calif., April 14 (UPI) -- Albert Pujols laced a game-winning, two-run double in the bottom of the ninth Saturday, rallying the Los Angeles Angels over Houston 5-4.

The Angels were trailing 4-3 entering the ninth but began an uprising when Luis Jimenez drew a one-out walk against Jose Veras (0-1).

One out later, Mike Trout kept the inning going with an infield single and Pujols followed by yanking a sizzling grounder inside the third base bag and down the line, scoring both runners.

The big hit made a winner of reliever Michael Roth (1-0) in his major league debut and snapped the Angels' four-game home losing streak.

Josh Hamilton homered -- his first clout as an Angel.

Chris Carter belted a two-run shot for the Astros.
