MLS: Real Salt Lake 1, Vancouver 1 (tie)

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 13 (UPI) -- Camilo converted an equalizing penalty kick in the 84th minute Saturday, elevating the Vancouver Whitecaps into a 1-1 draw with Real Salt Lake.

The Whitecaps were awarded a penalty when defender Nat Borchers accidentally handled the ball in the box while slipping.

The Brazilian found the bottom left of the goal on the ensuing kick, allowing Vancouver to improve to 2-2-2 on the season.

Olmes Garcia scored on a curling shot past Whitecaps goalkeeper Joe Cannon in the 65th for RSL (2-3-2).
