NBA: Toronto 97, Chicago 88

TORONTO, April 12 (UPI) -- Amir Johnson scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds Friday, sending Toronto to a 97-88 victory over Chicago.

The Raptors won their fourth game in five tries, building a 15-point lead in the third period and holding off a Chicago charge early in the final quarter.

Rudy Gay added 23 points with five steals and DeMar Rozan contributed 19 points.

Chicago continued to play without Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, both trying to recover from injuries prior to the playoffs. The Bulls will open on the road in the playoffs against either Indiana or Atlanta.

Carlos Boozer led Chicago with 19 points and 12 rebounds before picking up his sixth foul. The Bulls have dropped three out of four.

Chicago's Richard Hamilton picked up a flagrant foul and was ejected in the third quarter for striking DeRozan in the head as he came off a screen.
