The Clippers held the Timberwolves scoreless for the final 3 minutes of the third period, turning a seven-point lead into a 16-point advantage heading into the fourth quarter.

Paul and Griffin both scored 19 points in the balanced effort that saw Willie Green add 15 points and Matt Barnes contribute 14. The Clippers shot 57 percent from the field and went 11-of-21 from beyond the arc.

Minnesota, which had been trying for its 30th win of the season, was led by 20 points from Nikola Pekovic.
