April 10, 2013 at 11:34 PM

DALLAS, April 10 (UPI) -- Goran Dragic led Phoenix with 22 points Wednesday and the Suns held off a late Dallas charge to defeat the Mavericks 102-91.

The unlikely result, which ended the Suns' 10-game losing streak, virtually eliminated Dallas from playoff contention.

Phoenix held a 10-point lead going into the fourth quarter and saw that advantage trimmed to four with less than 3 minutes to play. The Suns then closed the game on an 11-4 run.

P.J. Tucker had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Suns. Shawn Marion led Dallas with 22 points.
