MLB: Los Angeles Angels 9, Oakland 5

ANAHEIM, Calif., April 10 (UPI) -- The Oakland Athletics scored five runs in the seventh inning Tuesday to beat the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 9-5.

John Jaso and Brandon Moss homered in the decisive inning, which began with the Halos holding a 5-4 lead.

Coco Crisp added a solo home run and Derrik Norris had an RBI for the A's, who won their sixth in a row.

Ryan Cook (1-0) picked up the win in relief by limiting Los Angeles to one hit in 1 2/3 innings.

Kevin Jepsen (0-1) was charged with the loss. Jepsen allowed four runs on three hits in relief of C.J. Wilson.

Howie Kendrick had three hits and an RBI for the Angels, who sunk to 2-5 for the season; Mark Trumbo also had an RBI and scored twice.
