April 7, 2013 at 11:01 PM

OAKLAND, Calif., April 7 (UPI) -- Mo Williams went 11-of-19 from the field en route to 25 points Sunday, propelling the Utah Jazz into playoff position with a 97-90 victory over Golden State.

The Jazz also got 19 points and 12 rebounds from Al Jefferson, along with 12 points and 13 boards from Derrick Favors.

Utah's victory and a Sunday loss by the Los Angeles Lakers gave the Jazz a half-game lead in the race for the final Western Conference playoff spot.

Stephen Curry scored 22 points for the Warriors, who missed a chance to clinch their first post-season berth since 2006-07.

David Lee provided 21 points with 13 rebounds and Klay Thompson added 20 points for Golden State.
