HOUSTON, April 7 (UPI) -- Chris Young belted a three-run homer and Jed Lowrie added a two-run blast Sunday, powering Oakland to a series-sweeping 9-3 win over Houston.

Coco Crisp supplied a bases-empty clout as the Athletics reeled off their fifth straight after going 0-2 to start the season.

Brett Anderson (1-1) garnered the victory, allowing just two unearned runs on five hits over six innings. He issued two walks and struck out 10.

The Astros' Lucas Harrell (0-2) was tagged with the loss, surrendering eight runs on seven hits with five walks over 4 1/3 frames.

Carlos Corporan drove in a run for Houston, which dropped a fifth consecutive game.
