DENVER, April 6 (UPI) -- Pavel Datsyuk scored with 15.4 seconds to go in overtime Friday, giving Detroit a 3-2 victory over Colorado.
The Red Wings maintained a one-point lead over St. Louis for the seventh spot in the Western Conference standings.

Detroit took a 2-1 lead into the third period, but P.A. Parenteau scored 6:29 into the stanza to create a tie.
Colorado, however, had to settle for one point, leaving the Avalanche with an NHL-low 29 for the season. Colorado has lost three in a row.
Jimmy Howard made 33 saves to collect the victory. Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 28-of-31 shots.
