BUENOS AIRES, April 6 (UPI) -- Argentina's doubles team came through Saturday with a win that gave the home team a 2-1 in their Davis Cup quarterfinals series with France.

David Nalbandian and Horacio Zeballos lost the first set, but rallied to beat the French duo of Julien Benneteau and Michael Llorda 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 7-5, 6-3.

The best-of-five series resumes Sunday. Juan Monaco will face French ace Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and Carlos Berlocq will play the second match, if needed, against Gilles Simon.

The winner of the series will advance to the semifinals where they will face either Kazakhstan or the Czech Republic.
