NBA: Miami 89, Charlotte 79

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 5 (UPI) -- Mike Miller hit 7-of-11 from 3-point range and scored 26 points Friday, launching Miami to an 89-79 victory over Charlotte.

Both LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were rested for the third straight contest, leaving the Heat with plenty of points to make up against the team with the worst record in the NBA.
