NBA: Detroit 108, Toronto 98

TORONTO, April 2 (UPI) -- Greg Monroe struck for 24 points Monday and the Detroit Pistons snapped a three-game skid with a 108-98 victory over Toronto.

Former Raptor Jose Calderon netted 19 points and distributed nine assists while Rodney Stuckey added 18 and six off the bench for the Pistons.

Jonas Jerebko (15 points) and Khris Middleton (11) also reached double figures in Detroit's win.

Rudy Gay went 13-of-18 from the field en route to 34 points for Toronto, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Raptors' seventh loss in eight contests.

Jonas Valanciunas provided 17 points and five blocks in the loss.
