COL BKB (W): Notre Dame 93, Kansas 63

NORFOLK, Va., March 31 (UPI) -- Skylar Diggins pumped in 27 points Sunday and top-seeded Notre Dame rolled into the NCAA tournament's Elite Eight with a 93-63 dispatching of Kansas.

Diggins' total gave her 2,323 career points -- surpassing Beth (Morgan) Cunningham to become the program's all-time leading scorer. Cunningham is now an assistant coach at Notre Dame.

Natalie Achonwa provided 17 points and 10 rebounds for Notre Dame (34-1), which rolled to its 29th straight win and will next take on second-seeded Duke at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va.

Carolyn Davis scored 25 points to pace 12th-seeded Kansas (20-14) in its first Sweet 16 appearance since 1994.
