NBA: Dallas 100, Chicago 98

DALLAS, March 30 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki drained a go-ahead 3-pointer with 2.9 seconds left to play Saturday and finished with 35 points in the Dallas Mavericks' 100-98 win over Chicago.

Nowitzki was 14-of-17 from the field en route for the Mavs, who charged finished the game with a 15-1 run.

Nowitzki went 5-of-6 from 3-point range while Vince Carter assisted on his go-ahead bucket and contributed 17 points off the bench for Dallas, which bounced back from Thursday's 103-78 loss to Indiana.

Brandan Wright added 17 points and 13 rebounds.

The Bulls got 25 points and 11 rebounds from Carlos Boozer in their first loss in four games. Nate Robinson and Luol Deng added 25 points apiece for Chicago.
