BALTIMORE, March 27 (UPI) -- Former Oakland Raiders safety Michael Huff has agreed to a three-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens, the team announced Wednesday.

Huff, who started all 16 games for the Raiders last season, is expected to join the Super Bowl champions' starting defensive lineup immediately, following the departures of Ed Reed and Bernard Pollard.

The former first-round Oakland draft choice amassed 56 tackles with two interceptions and 13 passes defensed in 2012.

Huff has played his entire six-year career to date with the Raiders, compiling 438 tackles, 5 1/2 sacks, 11 interceptions and 55 passes defensed in 108 career games (93 starts).
