PHILADELPHIA, March 27 (UPI) -- Damien Wilkins
and Jrue Holiday reignited Philadelphia down the stretch Wednesday and helped boost the 76ers to a 100-92 victory over Milwaukee.
Philadelphia held a 17-point lead during the second period, then fell behind by as many as eight in the early stages of the final quarter.
The 76ers, however, held the Bucks scoreless for almost 4 full minutes while regaining control. Milwaukee has lost four in a row, but Philadelphia is still a distant 6 1/2 games behind the Bucks for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Wilkins and Holiday both scored 18 points with Spencer Hawes adding 15 points and 17 rebounds. Dorell Wright and Thaddeus Young delivered 14 each for the 76ers, who hit 8-of-16 from 3-point range.
Monta Ellis had 29 points and seven rebounds for the Bucks while Ersan Ilyasova claimed 18 boards.
