NHL: Winnipeg 4, Carolina 1

RALEIGH, N.C., March 26 (UPI) -- Winnipeg's Evander Kane supplied a goal and three assists Tuesday and the Southeast Division-leading Jets stayed hot with a 4-1 win over Carolina.

Kane helped out on tallies by Olli Jokinen, Tobias Enstrom and Nik Antropov as the Jets built a 3-1 lead and then capped the scoring with an unassisted marker in the third period for Winnipeg.

Ondrej Pavelec turned aside 38-of-39 shots, including 16 in the middle frame, as the Jets improved to 7-3-1 in their last 11 games and extended their divisional lead over the second-place Hurricanes to six points.

Jiri Tlusty found the net and Justin Peters made 31 saves for Carolina.
