MIAMI, March 24 (UPI) -- LeBron James
supplied 32 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds Sunday, hoisting the Miami Heat to their 26th consecutive win, 109-77 over Charlotte.
James went 11-of-14 from the field while Chris Bosh and Ray Allen combined for 29 points as the Heat extended the second-longest winning streak in NBA history despite the absence of all-star guard Dwyane Wade.
Wade sat out with the contest with a sore right knee.
The latest victory brought the Heat one game closer to matching the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers' all-time NBA record of 33 straight wins.
Charlotte got 20 points from Kemba Walker and 18 from Gerald Henderson.
