NHL: Vancouver 1, Los Angeles 0

LOS ANGELES, March 23 (UPI) -- Corey Schneider notched his second shutout of the season Saturday and the Vancouver Canucks beat Los Angeles 1-0 despite getting off only 13 shots.

Schneider made seven of his saves in the final period in racking up the sixth whitewash of his career.

Mason Raymond scored in the first period for the Canucks, who produced very few scoring chances but still managed to roll up their third consecutive victory.

Jonathan Quick made 12 saves as the Kings wrapped a five-game homestand 3-2.
