TORONTO, March 22 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony produced 37 points Friday in his second game back from an injury and he helped New York clinch a playoff spot with a 99-94 win over Toronto.

Anthony missed six out of eight games with a sore knee, but was a dominating force against the Raptors while playing 43 minutes. He hit 14-of-31 shots from the field in what was New York's third straight victory.

The Knicks will take part in the postseason for the third straight year, joining Brooklyn, Miami and Indiana as post-season qualifiers from the Eastern Conference.

Kenyon Martin made 9-of-10 shots and scored 19 points for the Knicks. J.R. Smith added 14 points.

Toronto lost its third straight and has dropped 10 of 13. The Raptors wasted a career-best 35 points from Alan Anderson.
