NBA: Sacramento 116, LA Clippers 101

SACRAMENTO, March 20 (UPI) -- Six Sacramento players scored in double figures Tuesday to carry the Kings past the Los Angeles Clippers 116-101.

Marcus Thornton scored 25 points and combined with Toney Douglas to rack up nine 3-pointers for the Kings, who won for the third time in five games.

Douglas finished the night with 19 points and Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins both tallied 17. Cousins had 11 rebounds.

Blake Griffin paced the Clippers with 26 points and Jamal Crawford added 25 off the bench. Chris Paul was 2-for-10 from the field but still pulled off a double-double with 11 points and 15 assists.

The Clippers, who carried a five-game winning streak into the state capital, saw their reserves outscored by Sacramento's bench 62-38.
