NEW YORK, March 20 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony, returning to the court after a three-game absence, scored 21 points Wednesday in helping New York down Orlando 106-94.

Anthony was held out of action after having fluid drained from his ailing right knee. His return brought the Knicks their second straight victory after they had suffered four losses in a row.

J.R. Smith had 22 points for New York, which swept a season series from Orlando for the first time in 15 years. The Knicks shot 52 percent from the field and went 11-of-16 from long range.

Orlando, which has lost five straight, came up with 14 points each from Tobias Harris and Andrew Nicholson.

The Knicks maintained their one-game lead over Brooklyn in the Atlantic Division.
