DALLAS, March 20 (UPI) -- A season-best performance from Brook Lopez Wednesday allowed Brooklyn to pull away in the second half for a 113-96 decision over Dallas.

Lopez scored 38 points, hitting 15-of-22 from the field as part of the Nets' 50 percent shooting effort.

Deron Williams added 31 points, 26 of them coming in the second half. Brooklyn has won the first two games of an eight-game road trip.

Brooklyn overcame a 10-point deficit after one quarter to gain revenge for a home loss to the Mavericks in their only other meeting this season.

Dirk Nowitzki had 16 points and Chris Kaman contributed 14 for the Mavericks, who opened a six-game home stand.
