PITTSBURGH, March 19 (UPI) -- Matt Niskanen's goal in the third period Tuesday boosted the Pittsburgh Penguins to their 10th straight win, 2-1 over Washington.

Paul Martin also found the net and Sidney Crosby assisted on both goals for Pittsburgh, which won despite not having Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang in the lineup.

Marc-Andre Fleury earned victory with 28 saves.

Alex Ovechkin notched the Capitals' only goal.

Braden Holtby made 34 saves for Washington.
