ATLANTA, March 19 (UPI) --
An Atlanta Hawks cheerleader was taken from the court on a stretcher after falling and striking her head during Monday night's game in Atlanta's Philips Arena.
She slipped and fell during a routine between the third and fourth quarters of the basketball game against the Dallas Mavericks, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday.
Identified only as Cheerleader Kristen, she was taken by paramedics to Atlanta Medical Center, and was released after examination by physicians, the team said.
