Cowboys, Dolphins in Hall of Fame game

CANTON, Ohio, March 19 (UPI) -- The Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins have been chosen to play in the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, the NFL announced Tuesday.

The game, part of the hall's induction ceremonies, will be Aug. 4 in Canton, Ohio.

Three members of the seven-person 2013 Hall of Fame induction class have ties to either the Cowboys or Dolphins.

Guard Larry Allen played for Dallas (1994-2005) while Bill Parcells coached the Cowboys (2003-06) and was in charge of the Dolphins' football operations (2007-10). Wide receiver Cris Carter was with Miami for the 2002 season.

Other inductees this year are: Curley Culp, Jonathan Ogden, Dave Robinson and Warren Sapp.

Induction ceremonies are scheduled for Aug. 3.
