DENVER, March 18 (UPI) -- Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews each notched a goal and two assists Monday in the Chicago Blackhawks' 5-2 waltz over Colorado.

Brent Seabrook tallied with an assist while Jimmy Hayes and Andrew Shaw also found the net for Chicago, which reeled off a third straight victory to improve to an NHL-best 24-2-3.

Ray Emery needed to make only 17 saves en route to the win.

Gabriel Landeskog and Milan Hejduk notched a goal each for the last-place Avalanche, who trail the Blackhawks by 27 points in the Western Conference.

Semyon Varlamov made 27 saves for Colorado.
