NHL: Detroit 5, Vancouver 2

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 17 (UPI) -- Henrik Zetterberg and Justin Abdelkader each scored twice for Detroit Saturday and the Red Wings concluded a road swing with a 5-2 spanking of Vancouver.

Pavel Datsyuk distributed three assists while Dan Cleary also tallied for the Red Wings, who went 2-1 on a three-game trip through Western Canada.

Jimmy Howard turned aside 33-of-35 shots to earn the victory.

Alex Burrows got both goals for the Canucks, who fell to 3-3-2 in March.

Roberto Luongo made 21 saves for Vancouver'.
