SANDY, Utah, March 16 (UPI) -- Alvaro Saborio scored in the 80th minute Saturday, rallying Real Salt Lake to a 1-1 draw with Colorado in a Rocky Mountain Cup matchup.

Saborio kept the Rapids winless in Utah for a ninth straight game when he fired in a right-footed shot for the equalizer, erasing a 1-0 deficit.

Backup goalkeeper Clint Irwin made three saves in his MLS debut for Salt Lake (2-1-0), which hasn't lost to Colorado at home in six years.

Rookie forward Deshorn Brown scored his first career goal for the Rapids (0-2-1), who are still seeking their first win this season.
