NBA: Denver 117, New York 94

DENVER, March 14 (UPI) -- Wilson Chandler scored 24 points off the bench Wednesday and Denver made the return of Carmelo Anthony an unpleasant one in a 117-94 win over New York.

Anthony played a game in Denver for the first time since he lobbied for the trade that eventually sent him to New York and the Nuggets' fans greeted him with constant boos while he was on the court.

Anthony eventually limped to the locker room in the third period having scored just nine points. He has been bothered by a knee injury that put him out of action for three games and he went just 3-of-12 from the field against Denver.

The Nuggets won their 10th straight game thanks in part to two of the four players they received in the trade involving Anthony -- Chandler and Danilo Gallinari.

Gallinari added 16 points while Andre Iguodala had 14 for the Nuggets. They have won 14 straight on their home floor.

Iman Shumpert led the Knicks with 20 points.
