NHL: Phoenix 5, Los Angeles 2

GLENDALE, Ariz., March 13 (UPI) -- Mikkel Boedker scored two goals Tuesday to lead the Phoenix Coyotes to a 5-2 win over the visiting Los Angeles Kings.

Mike Smith made 31 saves in the Coyotes' fourth win in their last six games.

Rob Klinkhammer scored in the third period to close the game out after the Kings had battled back from a 4-0 deficit to cut the Phoenix lead in half. Shane Done and Raffi Torres both had a goal and an assist for the Coyotes.

Dustin Brown and Mike Richards scored late in the second period to get the Stanley Cup champions, who had won four of their last five, back in the game. Jonathan Quick allowed five goals on 29 shots.
