NBA: Dallas 115, Milwaukee 108

MILWAUKEE, March 12 (UPI) -- Veteran Vince Carter came off the bench Tuesday to score a sparkling 23 points and lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 115-108 road win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Carter hit 6-of-10 field goal attempts, including four from 3-point range, and was perfect in seven trips to the free-throw line to pace the Mavericks to their fourth consecutive victory.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Dallas. O.J. Mayor and Jae Crowder both scored 14 points.

Milwaukee, which had won six of their previous seven games, got 32 points from Monta Ellis and a double-double of 13 points and a dozen rebounds from Larry Sanders. Mike Dunleavy added 18 points and J.J. Redick scored 17.

The Bucks made a game of it in the fourth quarter, trimming the Mavs' lead to 109-102 with 2:04 remaining but the ageless Carter scored on a layup and two free throws down the stretch to keep the game out of reach.
