PHILADELPHIA, March 11 (UPI) -- Spencer Hawes' 24 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists Monday sparked the Philadelphia 76ers to a 106-97 win over Brooklyn that snapped a five-game skid.

Evan Turner helped out with 16 points and seven boards for the Sixers, who went on a 13-4 run late in the third quarter to put the contest away, capped by Dorell Wright's slam dunk.

Wright ended with 15 points while Jrue Holiday added 15 and 11 assists.

The Nets got 27 points and 13 assists from Deron Williams but still fell to 2-2 in their last four games.

Joe Johnson added 20 points and six assists for Brooklyn.
