NBA: Los Angeles Clippers 129, Detroit 97

LOS ANGELES, March 11 (UPI) -- Blake Griffin and Chris Paul teamed up for 42 points Sunday, sparking the Los Angeles Clippers to a 129-97 pounding of Detroit.

Griffin scored 22 points while Paul provided 20 and 14 assists for the Clippers, who got back in the winning track following a Thursday loss to Denver.

Matt Barnes connected on all five of his 3-point tries en route to 16 points and Caron Butler also reached double figures with 15 in the win.

The Pistons, who dropped their fifth straight, got 18 points from Jose Calderon along with 14 points and eight rebounds from Jonas Jerebko.
