NBA: Dallas 100, Minnesota 77

MINNEAPOLIS, March 10 (UPI) -- Vince Carter sank four 3-pointers Sunday, finishing with 22 points in the Dallas Mavericks' third straight win, a 100-77 rout of reeling Minnesota.

Dirk Nowitzki helped out with 16 points and nine rebounds in the win.

Brandan Wright (13 points) and Elton Brand (10, 12 rebounds) also were instrumental for in the Mavericks' triumph.

The Timberwolves got 18 points and nine rebounds from Derrick Williams in their eighth setback in nine games.

J.J. Barea came off the bench to provide 16 points for Minnesota.
