PORTLAND, Ore., March 10 (UPI) -- Hassoun Camara and Felipe Martins gave Montreal a two-goal lead Saturday and the Impact held on for a 2-1 win over Portland.

Camara but Montreal up 1-0 in the 30th minute with an overhead kick off a deflected clearance try by the Timbers.

The Impact (2-0-0) doubled their lead in the 60th when Andres Romero fed a pass to Martins, who bested goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts at the near post.

Ryan Johnson later scored for Portland (0-1-1), whose seven-game home unbeaten streak dating back to last season was snapped.
