VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 9 (UPI) -- Kenny Miller's second-half goal Saturday sent the Vancouver Whitecaps to a second straight win to start the season, 2-1 over Columbus.

Vancouver blew a 1-0 lead but then went back ahead when Miller stole the ball from Glauber in the 57th minute put a shot past on-rushing Columbus goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum.

Daigo Kobayashi also scored for Vancouver (2-0-0), which has collected a total of six points from its opening two games.

Jairo Arrieta scored early in the second half for Columbus (1-1-0), which was coming off a season-opening defeat of Chivas USA.
