CHICAGO, March 6 (UPI) -- Danny Carcillo scored with 49 seconds to play Wednesday, allowing Chicago to extend its historic streak with a 3-2 victory over Colorado.

The Blackhawks have won 11 in a row, a franchise record, and have not lost in regulation in their first 24 games this season.

Those 24 games with at least one point (21-0-3) is the longest such streak to start a campaign in NHL history.

Dating to last season, the Blackhawks have earned a point in 30 straight games, the second-longest streak ever. Only the 1979-80 Philadelphia Flyers played more consecutive games with at least one point, having won 35 in a row that season.

Chicago went into the third period trailing by a goal, but Jonathan Toews scored shorthanded 2:19 into the stanza. Carcillo's goal came on a wrist shot and was his first of the season.

Andrew Shaw gave Chicago a 1-0 lead midway through the first period with a power-play goal, but Colorado came back to go in front on scores from John Mitchell and Matt Duchene.

Ray Emery stopped 20 shots for the win. Semyon Varlamov allowed three goals on 31 shots.

The teams will meet again Friday in Denver.
