SACRAMENTO, March 6 (UPI) -- Ty Lawson scored 24 points Tuesday to pace the Denver Nuggets to a 120-113 win over the Sacramento Kings.

The Nuggets shot 54.1 percent from the field and won their sixth consecutive game.

Danilo Gallinari scored 23 for the Nuggets and Kenneth Faried scored 19 and chalked up 12 of Denver's 40 rebounds.

Marcus Thornton led Sacramento with 32 points off the bench and Isaiah Thomas added 23. Thornton hit five shots from 3-point range.

The game was tied 50-50 at halftime but Denver bounded away on an 11-2 run to start the third quarter and then snuffed out a fourth-quarter rally by the Kings with a pair of buckets by Andre Miller.
