Stacy Lewis back to third in women's golf

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., March 4 (UPI) -- Stacy Lewis' win at the LPGA stop in Singapore moves her back past Inbee Park for No. 3 in the women's world golf rankings.

Lewis won the HSBC Women's Champions event Sunday by one stroke over Choi Na-yeon.

It was the fifth title in 10 months for Lewis and boosts her to third in the world rankings, just behind the second-ranked Choi.

Lewis has a ranking points average of 8.84 while Choi is at 8.85 and Park, ranked fourth, comes in at 8.20.

Yani Tseng is No. 1 but her lead is shrinking. Her average is 9.53 and she's been on top of the rankings for the last 108 weeks.

Feng Shanshan is fifth with an average of 6.72, not far ahead of No. 6-ranked Jiyai Shin (6.62).

Ryu So-yeon moves up one place to seventh with a 6.30 average. Suzann Pettersen (6.20) drops to eighth. Ai Miyazato (6.00) and Mika Miyazato (5.26) are ninth and 10th, respectively.

With the season-opening Asian swing over, the LPGA has the week off before the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup March 14-17 in Phoenix.
