NBA: Denver 104, Atlanta 88

DENVER, March 4 (UPI) -- Denver's Corey Brewer scored 22 points Monday and the Nuggets went on a 14-5 run in the third quarter to speed past Atlanta 104-88.

Ty Lawson netted eight of his 18 points during the span and distributed eight assists as Denver won its 11th straight at home.

Kenneth Faried (10 points, 13 rebounds) Wilson Chandler (13 points) and Andre Iguodala (12) also played big roles in the victory.

Al Horford donated 18 points and 13 boards for the Hawks, who dropped a third straight to wrap up a 3-3 road trip.

Jeff Teague and Josh Smith each netted 15 points in the loss.
