SACRAMENTO, March 3 (UPI) -- John Salmons led a long-range Sacramento attack with five 3-pointers Sunday and the Kings drained 13 treys en route to a 119-83 pounding of Charlotte.
Salmons finished with 22 points while Marcus Thornton added 18 for the Kings, who outscored the Bobcats 70-32 over the middle two quarters in the rout.

Jason Thompson (18 points, 14 rebounds), DeMarcus Cousins (14, nine) and Tyreke Evans (13, seven) also played big roles in the victory.
Byron Mullens and Gerald Henderson each netted 12 points in Charlotte's sixth straight loss.
