NHL: Philadelphia 2, Ottawa 1

PHILADELPHIA, March 2 (UPI) -- Ilya Bryzgalov turned aside 33-of-34 shots Saturday, lifting the Philadelphia Flyers to a 2-1 victory over Ottawa.

Wayne Simmonds and Jakub Voracek each netted a goal as the Flyers notched their third victory in four games.

Philadelphia used the victory to achieve the .500 mark (11-11-1) for the first time this season.

Ben Bishop made 39 saves for the Senators, who fell for a second straight game.

Marc Methot got Ottawa's only goal.
