BUFFALO, N.Y., March 2 (UPI) -- Jason Pominville scored twice in regulation and added another goal in a shootout Saturday, boosting the Buffalo Sabres over New Jersey 4-3.

After a scoreless overtime, the game went to a shootout and Pominville went first, beating New Jersey's Johan Hedberg with a shot to the glove side.

Tyler Ennis followed with another score for Buffalo while Ryan Miller clinched the win with a glove save on Adam Henrique, and the Sabres nailed down their second shootout victory in as many games.

Jochen Hecht also scored and Miller finished with 28 saves in the victory.

Henrique, Steve Bernier and Andrei Loktionov each found the net for New Jersey, which stumbled to its fourth straight loss and sixth in seven contests.
