NBA: Washington 90, Toronto 84

TORONTO, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Bradley Beal fired in 20 points for Washington Monday and the Wizards continued their recent hot streak with a 90-84 decision over Toronto.

John Wall added 10 points, seven assists and five rebounds for Washington, which notched its seventh win in nine games.

After starting the season with 12 straight losses, the Wizards have claimed 14 victories in 23 contests, improving to 18-37 overall.

DeMar DeRozan scored 25 points to lead Toronto, which fell for just the second time in eight games.
