

VIRGINIA WATER, England, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Matt Kuchar's win at the Accenture Match Play Championship moves him into the Top 10 of the men's world golf rankings.
Kuchar defeated Hunter Mahan 2-and-1 in Sunday's final in Arizona. It was his fifth PGA championship and lifts him 15 places in the world ranking to No. 8.
Ian Poulter, who came in fourth at the match play championship, goes from 13th to No. 10. Mahan sees his ranking improve from 25th to No. 21 while Jason Day, a 1-up winner over Poulter for third, is 35th after starting the tournament ranked 43rd.
With Kuchar and Poulter moving into the Top 10, Bubba Watson slipped one place to 11th and Phil Mickelson is down three to 12th to make room for them.
Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, both beaten in the first round in Arizona remain Nos. 1-2 in the rankings. McIlroy has a rankings points average of 11.66 while Woods is next at 8.83. Luke Donald (7.25) comes in third and Brandt Snedeker is fourth with 6.74.
Louis Oosthuizen has an average of 6.35 for the No. 5 spot, narrowly ahead of sixth-ranked Justin Rose (6.32). Adam Scott is seventh at 5.58 while Kuchar's average is 5.45. Lee Westwood, down a place to ninth, has an average of 5.37 and Poulter's is 5.23.
