DETROIT, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Damien Brunner led Detroit's offensive assault with two goals and a pair of assists Sunday in the Red Wings' 8-3 blitz of Vancouver.
Joakim Andersson also scored twice while Henrik Zetterberg and Niklas Kronwall each tallied with two assists for Detroit, which reeled off six straight goals over the final two periods.
Daniel Cleary added a goal and an assist, and Jordin Tootoo also scored as the Red Wings won a second straight following a five-game losing streak.
Jimmy Howard earned the victory with 18 saves.
The Canucks' Roberto Luongo, meanwhile, surrendered all eight Detroit goals on 28 shots.
Daniel Sedin scored twice and Chris Higgins also tallied for Vancouver, which fell for the fourth time in six games.
