CALGARY, Alberta, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Jarome Iginla and Curtis Glencross each scored a late goal Sunday, rallying the Calgary Flames over Phoenix 5-4.
Trailing 4-3 late in the third period, the Flames got the equalizer with 1:23 remaining when Iginla tapped in a cross-ice feed from Alex Tanguay -- his second goal of the game.
Only 23 seconds later, Glencross received a pass from Lee Stempniak in the high slot and one-timed a slap shot past Mike Smith for the game-winner as the Flames pulled out a second straight win.
Glencross also added an assist and Joey MacDonald stopped 23-of-27 shots for Calgary.
Raffi Torres scored twice, while Michael Stone and Nick Johnson got the other goals for the Coyotes, who dropped a second straight.
Smith finished with 26 saves.
